Forsythe Financial Planning provides independent financial advice and intermediary services to individuals, families, and small businesses across Ireland. We are committed to acting in your best interests at all times in accordance with the Central Bank of Ireland’s Consumer Protection Code.


Regulatory Status

Forsythe Financial Planning is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland as an insurance, investment, and mortgage intermediary under Reference Number C32175.
Our authorisation ensures that we operate to the highest professional and ethical standards in providing financial advice.

Our Services

We provide regulated financial advice and product placement in the following areas:

  • Pensions and retirement planning (Personal, PRSA, Executive, ARF)
  • Investment and savings products
  • Life assurance and income protection
  • Business protection, including partnership and key person insurance

We act as an independent intermediary, offering products from a broad range of life and investment providers to ensure clients receive unbiased, suitable advice.


Remuneration and Fees

Forsythe Financial Planning is remunerated by:

  • Commissions and other payments received from product providers for arranging contracts on your behalf.
  • Fees or hourly charges, agreed in advance and confirmed in writing before any chargeable work begins.

You will receive full disclosure of any remuneration or commission associated with proposed products before you commit.


Conflicts of Interest

We strive to identify and avoid any potential conflicts of interest. If such a situation cannot be fully avoided, it will be disclosed to you in writing before proceeding with any service or advice.


Duty of Disclosure

You must provide complete and accurate information when applying for financial products. Non-disclosure or misrepresentation may lead to claims being refused or policies being invalidated.


Client Money and Premium Handling

Forsythe Financial Planning does not accept or hold client funds. All premiums and investments must be paid directly to the product provider. A receipt will be issued for every payment received or transmitted.


Consumer Protection

We are members of the Investor Compensation Scheme established under the Investor Compensation Act 1998. This scheme provides limited compensation to eligible clients in the unlikely event that a regulated firm fails to meet its obligations.


Complaints Procedure

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please submit your complaint in writing to the Managing Director, Forsythe Financial Planning.
We will acknowledge your complaint promptly, investigate it fairly, and issue a written response in accordance with the Central Bank’s Consumer Protection Code.

If you remain dissatisfied, you can refer the matter to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO):
